Refund Policy

When refunds apply — and when they don't.

This policy explains how refunds work for KBSalonBook, operated by Kevin & Bruno Solutions, Lda.. It supplements our Terms of Service — in particular section 7 (Cancellation, changes and refunds). All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every purchase.

1. How billing works

KBSalonBook is sold as a monthly subscription. The base subscription costs €13 per month. Optional add-ons — such as WhatsApp messaging — are billed on top at their own monthly price.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Paddle charges your payment method, issues your invoice, and handles VAT.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for — you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.

Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period.

3. Base subscription refunds

We do not refund a billing period that has already started. You have access to the service for the full period you paid for.

We may issue a refund if:

  • we have materially failed to provide the service during that period (for example, extended unplanned downtime that made the product unusable);
  • applicable law requires it.

Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Add-on refunds (WhatsApp messaging)

The WhatsApp messaging add-on incurs third-party delivery costs (Meta Cloud API) as soon as messages are sent. For this reason, the add-on is not refundable for a billing period in which it was active.

When you remove an add-on mid-cycle, Paddle automatically prorates the change and credits the remaining unused days to your next invoice. This happens instantly — no request is needed.

We do not issue additional refunds on top of the automatic proration.

5. EU consumer withdrawal right

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase.

Because KBSalonBook gives you immediate access to the software, you ask us to begin performance right away when you subscribe, and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully provided for that billing period.

Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a statutory refund, contact us and we will review your request.

6. How to request a refund

Write to us at [email protected] with your account email and a brief description of why you are requesting a refund. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

If a refund is approved, Paddle processes it to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy — for example when we add a new add-on or the law changes. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.
